It has been 18 months since I have had my surgeries. For those of you that are not familiar with my story, I grew up with Scoliosis and, as I got older, developed severe degenerative disc disease.
18 months ago I had 3 surgeries over 2 separate days to straighten my spine and repair my discs. I lived in pain for so many years. Dr. Tantorski told me that this would be a life altering surgery.
It changed my life in so many ways. I now live without pain, I am able to run again, I am able to swim, I am able to travel for work and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.
I have no words for the amount of gratitude that I have for my family and friends that have supported me, my swim coach, my physical therapist, my trainer, Orthofix and for my doctor.
